Keith Coulter Joins Ahtna as Land & Resources Manager

Keith Coulter has joined Ahtna, Inc. as the Land and Resources Manager, based out of Glennallen. In his new role, he will manage Ahtna’s forestry and land management programs, as well as supervise several Natural Resource Technicians.

Keith has worked in the natural resources field for 30 years, with much of his experience in industrial logging in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. He spent ten years on Alaska’s Afognak Island managing the export logging for Ouzinkie Native Corporation and the Natives of Kodiak, the Alutiiq people. As a professional forester, he has participated over the years in many natural resource-related collaborative efforts between state and federal agencies and the private sector. Keith holds a variety of natural resource degrees, including a B.S. in Forestry, a M.S. in Forest Operations and a Ph.D. in Natural Resources.

Keith enjoys participating in Alaska outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and trapping with his wife Christina and their children John and Maddy.
