Meet the Board: Welcome Felicia Ewan & Aaron Miller

Felicia L. Ewan: Seat I, Gulkana

Felicia L. Ewan was elected to Seat I, Gulkana, on the Ahtna, Inc. Board of Directors. Felicia is a member of the Udzisyu (Caribou) clan. She is the proud parent of Kambriya Ewan, Michael, and Audianna Ewan-Demit, and the daughter of Eileen (Birdie) Ewan. Felicia is a dedicated professional whose experience in budgeting, strategic planning, and board governance makes her an asset to any organization. Her dedication to community service is evident through her involvement in the Gulkana Village Council, where she served for six years. She is committed to continuous learning and growth and would like to thank her Elders for their guidance and teaching.

Q: What goals do you hope to achieve?

A: The vision I seek for Ahtna and our people is to watch our future generations be prosperous and not have to worry about hardship. I want to show our younger people that anything can be achieved through perseverance and dedication. When you set a goal, be patient with yourself and know that you can achieve it when you set your mind to it.


Aaron Miller: Seat A, At-Large

Aaron Miller was elected to Seat A (At-Large) on the Ahtna, Inc. Board of Directors. Aaron is a member of the Naltsiine (Sky) clan. He is married to Morgan Miller, his parents are Jim and Charlene Miller, and his great grandparents are Charles and Delia Renard. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Aaron is currently a Project Engineer and Estimator at Davis Constructors and Engineers, a role he has held since 2021. Prior to that, he was a project engineer for Ahtna Environmental, Inc. His expertise extends to project management, budgeting, cost estimating, financial forecasting, project controls, and client relation development. Outside of his professional career, Aaron is dedicated to community service, coaching basketball, and providing leadership to youth programs. Aaron also prefers to spend his free time enjoying Alaska’s great outdoors.

Q: What goals do you hope to achieve?

A: I would like to create stable and consistent growth of Ahtna businesses, pursue and develop opportunities for shareholders, promote good business practices, make sound business decisions, optimize shareholder assets, protect and grow our land and resources, and promote cultural preservation, especially among the next generation.
