Only valid proxies received will be considered for the proxy prizes. Proxies are valid if they are signed by the proxyholders or completed online using the online voting system and received by the above deadlines.
In accordance with the IRS, prizes are taxable. Ahtna is required to provide shareholders a 1099-Misc form for all items of value over $600 and for cumulative prizes of value totaling $600 or more within a tax year.
