Janet Johns, ADB

Ahtna shareholder Janet Johns graduated this year from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Janet has been employed with Ahtna for over 10 years and has worked at Ahtna’s Irvine, California office since 2011. Janet is the daughter of the late Vickie Johns.

Craig O’Rourke, President of AGSC, ADB and AMCC, shared, “She expressed early on her desire to obtain a college degree, and I am very happy to say that she has achieved her goal while raising her family and working full-time. She has also grown in her career with Ahtna by using her experience and knowledge obtained from her coursework in moving up the ranks from administrative assistant to senior office manager. She is extremely dedicated to Ahtna and has great potential to continue to grow her roles and responsibilities with the company as opportunities arise. We are all extremely proud of Janet for her hard work and dedication.”


Tina Chapman, AN

Congratulations to Ahtna shareholder Tina Chapman, who continues to expand her safety credentials. She recently earned her Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certifications and is now authorized to teach Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) General Industry 10/30-hour outreach courses. Tina is a member of the Naltsiine (Sky) clan and her parents are Doris Hernandez (Wood) and Roy Turner Jr. Her grandparents are Roy Turner Sr. and Leona Turner (Joe).


Taliylah Patrick, AGL

Ahtna Global, LLC welcomes Taliylah Patrick to the Procurement Department as a Procurement Technician III. Taliylah works in the Anchorage office and provides AEI, AES, AGL, ASL and AITL field timecard support, as well as per diem and expense reports for the Alaska Office. She first started with Ahtna as an on-call employee and in the summer of 2019 was hired as an HR intern. In June 2020, Taliylah was hired as a Front Desk employee. She is a member of the Udzisyu Clan. Her parents are Ronda Lincoln from Copper Center and Drew Patrick from Mentasta, and she grew up with her Auntie and Uncle Yodene and Allen John in Anchorage. Taliylah’s grandparents are Tursy Smelcer and the late Ronald Lincoln and the late Dorothy Patrick. In her spare time she enjoys the theater and reading.


Kaleb Johnson, AITL

Ahtna Infrastructure & Technologies, LLC is pleased to welcome Kaleb Johnson to the Procurement Team as a Procurement Technician III. Kaleb’s main duties include: receiving invoices towards subcontract/vendor purchase orders as well as overhead invoices; receiving certificates of insurance and vendor/subcontractor prequalification packages for approval; assisting procurement staff in tracking subcontractor documentation; and preparing vendor purchase orders for approval. He is currently attending the University of Alaska Anchorage part-time and will graduate with an Associate degree in Accounting in May. In the Fall, he plans to pursue a Bachelor degree in Accounting. Kaleb is a member of the Naltsiine clan. His father is Shawn Johnson and his mother is Venessa Skaaland. Kaleb’s grandmother is Marlene Johnson and his great grandmother is Rose V. Goodlataw. Kaleb says his primary motivation is his wife, Jennifer Johnson: “After being together for 7 years, I finally convinced her to marry me! We then bought our first house in October of 2020 and are expecting our first baby girl due in July of this year!”
